Next Start for Covert Love is Undecided
Trainer Hugo Palmer is still weighing the options for Covert Love (Ire) (Azamour {Ire}), winner of Sunday’s G1 Prix de l’Opera at Longchamp.
“I’m feeling slightly dusty this morning, but the filly is on her way home and the reports are that she’s in good form,” said the Newmarket handler Monday. “The last time I saw her was in the winner’s enclosure, so we’ll just get her home, see how she is and have a good chat with the owners about what we’re going to do next. I’m not ruling anything in or out.”
Palmer explained that the G1 Qipco British Champions Fillies & Mares S. at Ascot and the GI Breeders’ Cup Filly and Mare Turf are two of the main options.
